Ramon Arambula, President and
Owner
Ramon is the
main point of contact for contract negotiations, estimating and
field operations. He makes all major corporate, financial and sales
decisions for the company.
Ramon had
fifteen years of experience as a Union painter prior to launching
Durango Painting and signing the company with the Chicago Painter’s
Union in April 2004.
Leigh Arambula,
Corporate Secretary and Office Manager
Leigh is the
main point of contact in financial matters. She handles the accounting,
payroll, insurance, and waivers.
Leigh has a
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in
Construction Management from the University of Maryland. She had
twelve years of experience in General Contracting as a Project
Engineer and Project Scheduler before starting a full-time position
with Durango Painting in 2005.
Alex
Salazar, Field Superintendent
Alex is the
Lead Superintendent addressing jobsite and daily field operation
issues. He is the point of
contact for issues concerning manpower, staffing, material and
equipment procurement.
Alex had six
years of combined experience as a Union Painter and Foreman before
joining Durango Painting in 2008.
Raul Mateus,
Project Manager/Estimator
Raul is a
Project Manager/Estimator and handles project management
concerns. He also handles
proposals for new projects and bid requirements. He is the main point of contact
for specification interpretation for submittals and is the liaison
with vendors and material suppliers.
Raul has a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a minor in Border Studies
from San Diego State University. He has a broad range of technical,
financial and managerial experience.
John Wise,
Asst. Project Manager/Estimator
John handles
bid scheduling, proposal submissions, and assists in project
management issues. He is
also the main point of contact for project submittals.
John had 10
years of experience in management and sales before joining Durango
Painting in January of 2010.
Sarah
Scherer, Project Accountant
Sarah is the
point of contact for Certified Payroll reports, project reporting,
pay applications, and invoicing.
Sarah is a
Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She has a Bachelor’s Degree in
Accounting from the University of Maryland. She has had over eleven
years of experience in Construction Accounting.
