Ramon is the main point of contact for contract negotiations, estimating and field operations. He controls and directs all major corporate, financial and sales decisions for the company.
Ramon had fifteen years of experience as a Union painter prior to launching Durango Painting and signing the company with the Chicago Painter’s Union in April 2004.

Our Team
Raul Mateus, Project Manager/Estimator
Raul is the main point of contact for management issues for projects in progress. He also handles bulletins, change order proposals, and closeout documentation.
Raul has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a minor in Border Studies from San Diego State University. He had a broad range of technical, financial and managerial experience prior to joining Durango Painting in 2008.

Leigh Arambula, Corporate Secretary and Chief Financial Officer
Leigh is the main point of contact in financial matters. She is responsible for strategic planning, implementation, and management of all financial related activities for the company.
Leigh has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Construction Management from the University of Maryland. She had twelve years of experience in General Contracting as a Project Engineer and Project Scheduler before starting a full-time position with Durango Painting in 2005.

Alex Salazar, Field Superintendent
Alex is the Lead Superintendent addressing jobsite and daily field operation issues. He is the main point of contact for issues concerning manpower, staffing, material and equipment procurement.

John Wise, Project Manager/Estimator
John is the main point of contact for bidding, estimating, submittals, billing, invoicing, waivers, and contracts. He is also the liaison with vendors and material suppliers.
John had 10 years of experience in management and sales before joining Durango Painting in January of 2010.
